I was climbing up the stairs from Restaurant Vice to Molly, carefully watching my steps because of a lingering childhood fear of falling. When I looked up, a brown-haired boy suddenly leaned out of the upstairs window, stretching his hand to grab something from the shelf on the wall.

He looked completely relaxed, radiating a bright and easy energy—like when you’ve been walking through a dead, silent bush for a while and suddenly a white rabbit dashes across your path. In that instant, everything feels alive again. I could sense that he truly enjoys his job. Am I wrong? Working alongside peers like Cameron Skinner, with laughter and jokes, he seemed to be really at home in that moment. I believe the spark of enthusiasm I witnessed that day will always accompany them, lighting their path forward.
