“Canberra is boring,” she admitted without hesitation. For someone so young and full of energy, I had to agree.

Her story, however, is anything but boring. Born in Tajikistan, she spent her first ten years in Russia before moving to Ukraine, where she lived for many years. Later, life took her to Turkey and, eventually, to Australia.

She once shared a touching story about her mother and stepfather. The way she spoke was filled with understanding and love, which I found deeply moving. Recently, she completed a photography course in Sydney while also working in the logistics field. I’m sure she could become a wonderful photographer one day—after all, she has already been a wonderful model to me.

To me, this is the hidden charm of a so-called “boring” city: you never know what kind of stories people carry until you meet them.
